This was done plein aire on the San Marcos river in Texas. It was coming on evening so I had to work fast. Watercolor on Arches cold pressed, 8x10"

I agree about the vintage look. Really like the foreground work in this, Charissa.

I love all the detail, Sass, and the fact that you didn't go crazy with a lot of different colors! The limited palette is very soothing!

Thank you, folks. I used to work in watercolors all the time. I don't know what lured me away from them. Ahhhhhh I know:D Printmaking and pen and ink. Well I suppose that I could do watercolor washes on them as I did this one but I love my B&W work so much.

Beautiful Charissa! Watercolor's loss is our (fellow p&i-ers') gain!

Thank you Dan. I may do more washes in the future but as I said I am hooked on P&I.
Val, thank you. I love doing water color plein aire. It is a challenge but one that I enjoy.

This is a nice one. Looks like home! Our son lives in San Marcos.

Jo, I went to school at SWT in San Marcos while living at Canyon Lake. Now I am thinking of moving to Marble Falls after my father in law is gone. I have family all over Texas and I miss seeing them.
