Yulee has the:

Comfort Inn 904-225-2600
rooms start at 60.00

Days Inn 904-225-2911
rooms start at 49.95

Both of these hotels give discounts for AAA,ARP and coupons out of the travelers brochure. I can get you the coupons if you send me your address. At the Days Inn with a travelers coupon it is $32.95 a night.

These are not on the Island, but as Carly mentioned they are only 20 minutes away.
If anyone is flying in I would be more than happy to pick you up from the Jacksonville airport which is not far.

Most of these prices are for double occupancy. There are many more places and I am trying to get a condo or beach house if some of you would like to share. But, this will give you an idea of what is available here.

Deb...I just wanted to add that Yulie is only a twenty minute drive for anyone interested in checking out the hotels there. I know their prices will be lower since they are not right at the beach.

I agree with Llis. Arlene, let's try to get on the same plane. You are still going aren't you?

Yes I definately plan on being there. The problem is I'm not sure whether I'm going to the getaway first or Orlando, or visa versa. Will let you know as soon as I have more info.

I vote to stay at the Inn of Fernandina Beach. The prices are not too terribly much than the Days Inn and it's much closer to the beach (about 20 min closer). We're probably not looking at more than a $20.00 difference, if that, and the only Days Inn that i'm aware of is quite a ways Inland.
Regardless, please consider me 'signed up' http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif Mal?

This sounds good too. Not that big a difference in price.
