Hi!!! I usually hang out in the pastels forum and just discovered this new forum....I love to paint flowers and am working on a series of 'weeds'...actually the wildflowers I come across in fields and by the roadside. Here is my latest. It's pastel on wallis paper 8x10. C & C is always welcome!

Beautiful work Karen. I like your limited palette. Weeds although not traditionall thought of as being romantic can be portrayed as such and you have caught the romance of them very well.

It's a lovely painting Karen - love the misty quality of the back/gd and the attention on the tall plants.

This is very lovely, and it has a wonderful tranquil feel... I have a special place in my heart for "weeds". :heart:

Oh, the point of view is perfect for highlighting the beautiful lacey structure of these flowers.
