This is one I did earlier this year - it's acrylic inks on w/c paper approx 10x12" (or thereabouts!)
I'm addicted to the colours of acrylic inks - so hopefully there'll be more soon! :D
The ref was posted in a WDE - by Dewi ... her hat, her flowers :)

Oh Maureen, what a gorgeous painting! I've not heard about acrylic inks before but if they give such great vibrance, guess I'll have to check them out. Do you use them much like watercolor?

So sorry to be late in saying 'thank you, one and all!' I appreciate your comments - really! :D

Mikki - yes, they can be used with most of the w/c techniques - except lifting out after they dry .... and they usually dry quite quickly.
The colours are very saturated - which is why I like them! :D

Maureen - which acrylic inks do you use and have you tried different ones?

Vivien's trying to get me to use them and I find I just keep standing looking at them in my local art supplies warehouse and end up completely bemused! And what's more every time I go in there seems to be a new brand......

they are luscious! I only have a few though and need to get some more colours .... and at the moment I really must NOT spend more on art materials!
