Ira, those are lovely-- realistic and yet so ethereal. You have an interesting loose technique that somehow is quite expressive. Where are these scenes located? The little wetland valley looks a lot like a place I used to stop at on my way to the Hudson Valley from Vermont-- can that be a coincidence?

Well actually the lighthouse is based on a photo in a trade pamphlet I had laying around and as for the wetlands pic.......just made it up...was sort of trying to emulate a "Bob Ross" style of painting in pastel.

Thanks for the comments...I was just using some old chalk pastel set I found laying around. I think it was some generic brand I must have bought to many years ago and forgot I had it.
