Tom... you are "right on" with that quiet peaceful feeling..... it's a lovely painting but I kind of miss someone walking there and enjoying that beautiful restful scenery! Donna R

Hi Tom - I love the distant trees and the shadows are simply fantastic. If I hade one suggestion to make, I would consider softeneing the sides of the path a little, as I feel this takes some of the softness and tranquility out of the scene. Otherwise, a fabulous job.

Another beauty. I do agree about the path.

Lovely scene Tom, beautiful work with the light and shade. Fantastic depth as well. I understand the point raised about the edge of the path but also think the hard edge makes a nice contrast to the softer trees etc. Perhaps the left hand side of the path as we see it would read better if it was softened where it's overlapped with the grass?

Just beautiful. Peaceful. The colors make it with those blues and purples. Trees - wish I could do trees.

I like the way you repeated the magenta color in this one. Your greens are great too but it's the extras you put in that always get my attention. As always, another beautiful pastel.

Great work Tom... I agree with above the sharp edge of the path might need softening a little...it would give more distance to the painting.. jsut a thought you're the expert..

Very nice. Definitely peaceful. I was going to say that that the unfussy path was refreshing, but I'm definitely not the expert here.

As always, beautiful work.

I could have sworn I had posted about this painting. About those lucious pinks that put a touch of zip into this successfully quiet, peaceful scene. I would like to stroll down that uncomplicated path into this painting and do a bit of contemplative exploring
