I would like to hear from anybody who has purchased it. How did you like using it? What does it weight full of pastels? Is it easy to assemble on the tripod? Anyone that can compare it to EasyL's Versa? How about going to Europe? Is it to big for such an event?

Welcome out of lurkdom! I've moved your post to the Pastels forum because I think you'll get more help there.

If you need any help navigating the site or figuring out its quirks, please c'mon back over to the New User forum and let us know -- it's what we're there for!

Hello everyone,
I too have been wondering if any one has purchased one of these, and what the reviews are like. Looks like it has some good features, but is costly with having to buy a good tripod.

Sorry, I do not own one so I can't give a review, but there is a video from IAPS on YouTube showing the Open M Box....

"Open M Box" is the name of the company... http://www.openboxm.com/ and the product... http://www.openboxm.com/closerlook.html

Basically it "Works as an easel, as a pastel storage box, and safely holds pastel paper for the trip to and from the field."

Thanks, mrking ! I thought it was a reference to what was inside a particular box that is why I asked the question.
Kind regards,
Eggy
