I would really like some advice on what to do with this to make
it work. Ì am new to this forum, have`nt done so many portraits
before
The sketching is done with different watercolor pencils
on arches not -paper the size is 12 x 16

it looks interesting but should be improved, some shadow could be added to the chin, the lower lip looks a bit unnatural, have you done this according to a reference photo, or,... it would be interesting to see it, also neck should be darker so that the face is more clear, and the background I think could be darker, maybe without those circle brush work (it looks to me as if she is drawning)... good luck:)

I have done some changes to this image.
Does the blue work ,do you think? Used a watercolor pencil and added some darker washes to the background.

Yes this looks much better now, maybe you should still think what to do with the area below the neck..
