Gorgeous!! Definitely something I would wear and I make beads, I don't wear them! Not much into jewelry anyway, never was. I do like diamond rings tho...should be getting one soon! hehe

Good morning!

Awesome showcase!
Deb...amazing silver cores...they make the beads look so elegant...
Lisa...beautiful...and all the same size, great job!
Trish...pretty...I love how the first one seems to glow from inside...and ...hehe...the cat hair...laff!
I do not edit a lot in my pictures...usually just crop, unsharpen...done...but what I have to do wayyyy too often...is to remove cat hair...lol...they only want to help;-)....hehe

Here is mine...some "Red currants"...why are all the real ones behind fences? lol....

Deb - The silver cores just make the bead look so dressed up...awesome job.
Trish - I love your leaves...beautiful. Don't think I can pick a fav from these two. I just tell 'em...cat hair...no extra charge....lol.
Anastasia - OHMYGOODNESS>...I love this set. One of my all time favs of yours.

Just some feedback from newbie...I come to this thread every morning for inspiration and to motivate myself to keep on trying!

Anastasia-you consistantly blow me away! I love everything that you do.

Trish-both are beautiful. I especially like the contrast in the second bead.

Juls-I love your colors and the silver. My silver tends to turn black on the beads. What do you do to keep it shiny?

Lisa, I definately want to try to do the silver core beads. These are all amazing and a good example of why I come here every morning. I think that I can do that someday!

Samma-the colors are stunning-still one of my big problems-combining colors that look as good in the finished bead as they do as rods!

Kathy-plunged flowers are my obsession and yours are beautiful. Are the green beads attached to the one in the middle, or are they separate?

My goal is to have something good enough to post here someday. For now, I'll just keep coming for my morning inspiration and post on the newbie thread.:)

Hi Susan, the big green & orange thingy in the middle of the photo was supposed to look like a sweety (candy). ;) Thanks for the nice comments everyone!

Have not torched all week - it has just been too hot! But have been watching all the wonderful work in the showcases daily- M

*Deb - great silver core beads! I bought a bunch of copper tubing and some jewler saw etc. attachments for my dremel, but have yet tried to do a metal core bead. need to get it togther and do it!
*Lisi - now come on - your beads are so nice. You should get in the habit of just putting one on a cord of some sort and wearing one every day! Its amazing how many people will remark on it and want to know more about it. (Who knows, maybe someone with diamond ring in their pocket will use your bead as a conversation starter!)
*Trish - beautiful work with the vines and leaves! The color flow is so gem-like!
*Anastasia - not to take anything away from others, but you have to be my favorite lampwork artist. Everything you do is museum quality, although I hope it is all worn and displayed proudly.
*Kathy - wonderful candy set!
*Samma - I love your shapes and combination with findings. And yes, this one really is majolica!
*Juls - great control of the silver - something I am still working on. And like the use of the spacers that bring it out on the beads.
****Susan MM**** Come on now - people on this thread are really nice and I am sure we would all love to see your work here!

Samma - I like the glass effect you got in those beads.
Deb - Interesting chain for your silver core beads. Is that something you made yourself?

No, I wish! lol! It is something I picked up at the Bead and Button show a few years ago.
