I like them all, especially the hibiscus. Could you share those beautiful colors in that one?

Okay, am I the ONLY one who can't see any pictures? It's not April 1st.

They were there a minute ago.

Are they there now?

No I don't see them

Lawton, thank you, the hibiscus is my favorite too. For it I used windsor and newton: cadmium yellow, cadmium red, titanium white, mars black, and liquitex: light blue permanent. It was a simple pallette but it blended easily and the colors just seemed to pop together.
Howard, I agree, I think the word whimsical is a very appropriate description.:)

I cannot see them either.

I like all three but I like the tulips especially then I like that dragonfly. These two have almost a stained glass look which I find very attractive.

Since I'm a huge Sopranos fan my vote goes to the ducks. :D

On a serious note, these paintings are nicely done. Nice use of color. Good job.

Thank you all for your comments! It's great to see that each painting appeals to someone. I'm especially happy that my drakes are such a hit. I had originally done the painting in just purple, but when I had finished I felt that it was missing something. The teal color was just a shot in the dark. Luckily, I think it was just what the piece needed. Funny how much a painting can change before you actually finish it. Anyhow, thanks again for all the input!

Beautiful pieces. the hibiscus is stunning. I like the crop on that one.

There may have been an uploader issue or something. It seems to be a little sporadic these days.

They are all lovely, but the ducks really caught my attention..:)

Thank you for the compliments ladies! I must say though, I really am surprised how many people like the ducks. I was sure that that would be the least favorite of the three -and I think its the most popular. I'd love to know why so many people like that one so. Would anyone care to elaborate about why it appeals to them? I would very much appreciate the input.:)

The 2nd didn't grab my attention as much - but it's a nice painting :D

Tough call on a favorite...I really LOVE the colors in the hibiscus, the two tulips one is ok, and the duck one is sooooo cool--love the movement and color, esp. the teal!

Fantastic work!

All three paintings are very good. Can't make up my mind which is my favourite. The hibiscus is very well done, but I do like the ducks a lot too. I like the colours and movement in the 3rd and the style you have used for it - a very modern look to it.
