Here's a mermaid I kept pretty simple just so she didn't compete with the busyness of the necklace. The necklace has 5-7 fibers along with seed beads and ss charms sewn in.

Heidi,
As always, I admire your patience. That's a beautiful piece. I wish I could sit still long enough to just start something like that.

I haven't had much time to make finished jewelry lately. But I forced myself to make at least one thing before going away for 10 days. I hope you like it.

It didn't tickle when I tried it on...however, I suppose if used in the correct manner, you might be able to achieve a tickle...lol!

That horse bead is wonderful! I can just see it's mane blowing in the breeze. Great job! Did you make the chain too?

And Kerry, your disk beads and color work always inspire me (i've even made some disks this week, not quite ready for prime time). Lovely bracelets as usual!

The necklace with the horse bead is all handmade byzantine sterling. The lady wanted something very different but simply stunning. She had seen a blue horse that I had done chainmaille with and really liked it but her friend bought it before she could.

Those bracelets are to die for! I love them (especially the two on the left!)

Wow, this thread got pushed far far away! Everyone must be enjoying the summer and not making jewelry!

I realized I hadn't posted this in finished works, and since the thread needed bumped, what the heck, I'll post it...even though it's not glass.

I made the kumihimo rope and wire wrapped all by myself.
