Looking good you all ! I am doing a happy dance because I think I finally figured my camera out...after a year of trial and error, mostly error. There were days that I wouldn't even acknowledge it's presence :) I am just too old to be learning new things !

Here it is, just a little past midnight and I have just turned on the kiln. So looking here for some quick inspiration before I start in!

Elen - you are really on a roll with these beads! Love em!
Trish - great colors! I will have to find out what raku means in lampworking. Used to do it when I made ceramics, so there must be some similarities in techniques.

Whitney - love the clor combos and flowing shapes!

Harriet - glad you figured out the camera because those beads are STUNNING!

Hec Tor - incredibly classic! Shape and design really work well together.

Maryse - wonderful beads, and love the feel of the way they are photographed

Puck - nice! Great understated elegance

Lisi - great organic look! The first set are what rocks in Candyland look like!

So here is what I have been playing with. Just got these skull molds, after spending weeks trying to figure out how to make my own mold. Getting ready for a Mexican day of the Dead show. So these are my first attempts. Seeing how they work with different colors, docorating with dots, eyes, millefiori, silver. So I am happy with first tries, and see what I want to refine now and develop.

There are some truly wonderful beads here in the Gallery today. Here is my bead....it is part of a series that I had fun with a few weeks ago. The series was inspired by Queen Elizabeth's visit to the US. I used shades of lavander and violet along with gold foil and cz's. This bead is one of my favorites. The base is a little more lavander than the picture shows.
