I painted this from my memories of a quiet sunset...the water lapping and sky brilliant with colour.....hope you like it. Comments of course are always welcome

oooops forgot to say this is done on canvas with acrylics as per normal for me :))

reminds of the Manukau Harbour around Huia!! But then again.....could be the Waitemata!

Amanda's right! This piece goes very well with the moonlight one. Love the sky and the mountains. And, mind you, it has very "erotic" mood, don't know why... May be the water... Like it!

Thanks so much for all your very kind comments and yes poetedamour now I look at the painting I agree with you. I have always like the moods I set in both this one and the moonlight reflections. Actually I think I will do another version of the moonlight one as you don't see many of that type around.
