Good morning!
Jayne...that focal reminds me of the moon somehow...love it...

A focal from me:

Have a great day!

Boy, those turquoise beads really are great. Did you do the black ones in the set also? If so, how did you get that pitted finish?

Jayne - wonderful bead! I can't remember how to do those. I know I was playing with that technique about a year ago, and you have inspired me to revisit it, since I now know what I am doing, at least a little bit more.

Anastasia - I always adore your beads. I like the little blue bulbs at the bottom of the flower stems. At first I thought they were blooming blowling balls!

From me, not much to show today. Just a bit of play with pastels, mixing up opalinos and alabasters. Now to clean up all the little shattering shards of this glass on my table!

Thank you, Michael...lol...I do not really know what that is...I got a bit carried away...maybe little elves living in the grass, who wanted to be on that bead...to me that looks like little faces;-)...

As for these "explosive" alabasters and opalinos...just put the rods half way into the kiln before using...then they´re warm enough when being introduced into the flame...and won´t explode on you...saves you a ton of glass...and burnt clothes...lol

thank you jayne! and michael... no, those black ones are genuine lava stones.
i thought they looks great with the turqoise...

Hi All, Every single day I look at the showcase & dream one day I'll be able to show my beads here. I've only been working with glass for about 3 weeks.
Anastasia- Your work amazes me. One can only dream I'll be that good.
Kenzee- I love the shape of your set.

Good morning everyone!!

What a great show!

This hand is long and is only slightly cupped. The reacion of the silver and the glass on one side makes it look as if there is a new star forming.

Thanks you for stopping by,

Bernadette Fuentes

thank you for looking and for your kind words. I don't usually come back and read after I post as I'm always so busy. I'm so glad I did this time. You've made my day!

Hey - have to finish looking at monday so I can get to Tuesday already, although I think it is still Monday here for quite a while yet. No sure since I have been awake now for 38 hours.

Bernadette: stunning work on those hands! Great use of the silver, something I have just started playing with.

vwhite - the one set reminds me of candy, an unwrapped roll of life-savers. Yummy!

Tom - great sea life - sculptural work is a bit off in the future for me, I am afraid. Colors are really great!

Ellen - great shapes and such even stringer...Wow

madnesssssssssss -really elegant! again, wonderful control of the silver. Mine starts out nice, till I burn my fingers, as I will always have the pliers just our of reach!

Cornelia - great shapes and color use. I am going to have to venture away from effetre one of these days, cause I wan't colors like that

Kenzee - great BH beads! I have 2 BH mandrels, nothing as large as 1/4" - those look like a lot of fun to make!

thank you so much ellen!!
