This is BUD, a commission I have just finished. He is on grey canson paper and the whole piece was done with pastel pencils. http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/17-Jun-2007/85966-100_0436.JPG
He spends most of his life lazing around on a big comfy bed! :cat: Its a cats life after all, :D

C&c's are most welcome,
Annie:)

Thankyou so much for all your comments, I am glad to have some commissions coming in. After seeing this guy on the monitor I have touched up a few things, it is really good to see it on the screen as it does have a very honest view!
I bought a really lovely yellowy creamy mat board today with a great frame, so I am anxious to get him all framed and ready to go.
Annie:)

Annie - congratulations on the commission. You have done such a great job on him - I want to reach out and scratch behind his ears. Speaking of which - such inner ear cat detail I have not seen before!! The eyes are remarkable, almost eerily so I must confess, he almost looks like sinister-cat. Obviously he was in bright light at the time. The way you've picked out his markings and fur is really excellent. I'm sure his staff will be really pleased with this, and soon you'll be inundated with more work.!!

excellent rendition! He may laze on the couch most of the time, but he looks very focussed in this picture--his owners will surely be very pleased!
