Here is an attempt at painting a horse and woman.
The painting is in acrylic its an 8"x10" mixed media. I applied tissue paper on the canvas board before starting the painting.
Thanks for looking and all suggestions are welcome.
It will be a gift for one of my new bosses.

Just love that texture, it's amazing! Does the horse have a wall-eye?

I like the texture you got by putting the tissue paper underneath. Nice job, I hope you decide to paint more horses. :D

Thank u, I usually use a palette knife to get texture but I recently discovered the Tissue paper way and I am liking it a lot. I do believe more horses are a coming. I have just accepted a position with a non-profit Equine Theraphy Ranch and I will be working on starting up an art department and it is all very exciting.
