This is such a cool place. I encourage anyone from Valdosta to Ocala to go there and paint. It is a beautiful, large park on the Suwannee River. There are cottages there where artists have residencies. They go there several days ,or one day a week to show their work and demo. I go twice a month to demo there.
There is a large gift shop that sells our art and other things related to the North Florida area. There is also a museum there.
The town, White Springs is lovely and very old, with cool architecture.

Hi Linda! These are very nice! I love the brushwork in the tree foliage, both the palmetto and the other ones. Very lively and interesting. Also the pine tree trunk, nice texture. I love the little touches of red on the tree trunk and would like to see that repeated somewhere else just a little.

Hi Ruth,
I hate that computers leave out so much. Actually the red iron oxide is repeated in all the tree trunks and in part of the ground but alas, only seems to stand out in the one tree trunk.
