Just sneaking a quick peek from work- shhhh, don't tell my boss! So many lovely beads have appeared since last night...wowzers!
And thanks for all your kind words, too! :)
Back to work before they see me

:( I am missing all the thumbnails. They don't show and won't open to the pictures.
I do like what I can see. Helen :) on the garden. and I remember dialup. makes me cringe to think of going back to that. I tell people I will go hungery before I give up my cable modem. they think I am kidding. I really am not.
Beautiful beads everyone.
06-14-2007, 07:37 PM
Helen - WOW!!!!! That Ocean purse is so delightful!!! I thought you were switiching off dial-up...getting satellite or something? What happened?
06-14-2007, 09:35 PM
Can't believe you remember that, Amber! What happened was the Cable guys chickened out although I checked w/ them before moving here. Seems our trailer is too far from the road, so in desparation, I got dial up, meaning a phone line. Then, for tv, we got a dish, but it also comes through the phone line. Meanwhile, AT&T merged w/ our BellSouth & we are supposed to be getting dsl soon...so I grit my teeth daily, and have great practise in patience.:) I think I signed a year contract for the phone and/or tv, so when that's up, if dsl isn't avaiable still, I'll see if I can't pay extra for the cable installation. We have gotten spoiled w/ dish tv, namely hallmark channel cable doesn't have. I can't do LE at all...just too slow. Thanks so much for remembering that! You are so sympathetic! Love, Helen

Hello, I haven't posted here before but watch everyone's work. Have even purchased beads from some of you. You are all wonderful and someday soon I'm going to start trying my hand. Just wanted to comment to Helen abut the slow dial up situation. I am also very rural and went with Wild Blue Satellite Internet. It is awesome and something you rural folks might want to consider. It uses a dish but doesn't need a telephone line. You might even find a deal on the equipment and installation since they are rather new. Hughes Net is also a satellite internet service. Just a thought.

:cat: Sharyl - I have the same problems. Some photos I can view at home; others I can only view at work. I blame Bill Gates and his darned software! But the cool part is, I get to see each showcase "twice" and see new things each time, no matter how early they were posted.
