Felt the urge to belt some colour into something.. (We likes colour!) My urges are sated...:D It's a little bit of a departure from the realism I like in my portraiture... But hey, it's mardi gras....

It's 20x16 velour paper using sennelier, windsor and newton softies and cretacolor pastel pencils.

Hi Adrian,

You've done a good work.
However and far from being an expert on figure or portraiture I notice two things. The colar bones are too curved (usually women have them more straight and pronounced). At least that's what seems in your painting. The other thing is that her dress is not falling well, especially her right side. Or maybe it's my impression.
What do you think ?

Kind regards,

Josť
