Of all the things that I like to sketch, I enjoy sketching and stylizing the female form most. My favorite tool for digital sketching in Painter is a customized Fine Tip Felt Pen. The next three sketches are of my favorite subject using my favorite tool.

This is a quick elf concept that came out of a doodle session.

It later became the basis for this WIP. I've been working on it on and off for a while. I recently got back to it. The tapestry design is on a seperate layer, so I'm trying out different designs. This is the one that I keep coming back to. I'd say this is about 70% complete. As always with this type of piece, I've created a little story to give myself a context in which to paint the character. I'll share some of it when I post the finished version.
