These are two of my pet pigs, Duke Swellington and his best bud, Libby. It's 12 x 18 wallis with Mt Vision and Nupastels.
Duke is 13 years old and his fair-haired sidekick is only a 3 month old wild pig. This is x-posted in pastelshttp://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/08-Jun-2007/60799-Duke_and_libby2.JPG

Awww these are so cute! I just love them. I had a lady not to long ago who wanted to give me a potbelly pig that was 4 months. I had to pass because my dogs didn't like him. But he sure was a cute little thing. He was also house broke.

Thanks Jody. Yes thes two are housebroken also. Duke weighs about 80 pounds in his old age, but Libby will probably top out at 300 when she's grown! We'll still love her and keep her though-at our house, size doesn't matter!

Hi, Just read recently that the iQ of a pig is higher than that of a dog, so the suggestion was to keep the pig in front of the fireplace rather than the dog.
Aside from that I think they are very realistic in their pose together. (as I recall it from my childhood time in the countryside) However (I dont know if the picture is representative but I would like a bit more contrast. The expression int the eyes as they are here is enchanting.
