i just started working sheets of tin metal.. and i need some suggestions on how to keep it to getther.ie . glue . etc.. i have be told i could weld it together.. but accident prone will do something harmfull tomyself if enev attempt welding so .. i was hoping that some here at W.C would have somehelpful ideas for this type of project..

how thick is the tin that you're working with?
what are you doing with it?
could you quasi-sew it together using punch holes and either a very thin wire or twine?
you could use epoxy, i think... i was just speaking with another artist about this very same problem. he was trying to connect shards of soda cans...

its very thin..its not as thin as a soda can is .. good idea about the wire .. im gonna try that .. thanks
my goal is with the tinis to make lamps .. shades etc.. i was thinking instead of a curtain valance .. i would make a light valance for my bedroom using the tin to kinda hide the candles.. adn things like that .. thanks for the idea ill try more if you have any http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

i think it would look really cool punched and laced with a constrasting wire. please post images as you work.
i'm very interested in seeing what you come up with.
