Painter pencils used the grainy pencil size 2 & 3 some dodge for the highlights in spots some I just left white. Working like this is forcing me to have more patience with my work and to take my time and I am developing a love of pencil work. It is just so slow lots and lots of going over to achieve the deapth you want. :lol:

Thank you Annie, Janet and Jean and yes Jean it is Painter X ...remember I uninstalled 8 and 9 so I was forced to use 10. :lol: :wave:

This is very well done, Marge. My only nit is that I keep wanting to see some indication of shadow below or behind the lock.

Thanks Digi and your right the more I looked at it the flatter it looked so I decided that my darks needed to be darker and have played around with it for a while so how about this...

Marge, this is different than your usual, but very compelling in technique. The shadow was a good call. I like!:)

Thank you sir_real and Joel your right Joel it is way different than my usual but I figure I'm not getting any younger so I might as well expand a little with the art work. :lol: :wave:
