WDE~5-25-07~Magnolia

I love magnolias..Every spring I am out with my camara, and take many snap shots. I have lots of photos but this is my first painting of one in watercolor and gouache on 11 1/2 x 5 1/2. I used a mixtures of Maimeri and Winston&Newton paints on cold press Arches paper.
The white on the left is a little whiter than the photo..It's more like the white on the right..Thanks for looking, and off to see the others:)

I wasn't totally happy with the first post..I did some finishing touch,and think this is a better picture.:)
