I do! I love it. I use wood or paper mache or tins as a base for my projects (when I have time from watercolors). I use half border paste with half Elmer's glue. Then, and here is the "different" part, I don't varnish or poly, I use antique paste wax to "seal" it. Great look.

Anyone else do decoupage? Share?

Rapolina, when you have time, would you let me know what kind of finish you use? I've tried lots of things but they seem to make the paper peel up eventually when I glue onto wood.

Thanks!

Hi!
to glue the paper on the support I use a vinilic glue; then I finish it with an acrilic water-based "flatting", a couple of hands (do you understand this expression, translated from italian...?).
if I use thick paper figure i use to give more hands of vinilic glue (vinavil)in order to level the surface (that' economic and fast!) and then lay the flatting. Spray flatting is also very pratical and quick.

sorry the short instructions, hope to be helpful. if you need ask again (hopr to have more time).
