Who wants boring shoes? Not I.

I decided to spiff mine up, and make them a little more… unique.

The snakes are made with MagicSculp, and are attached to a pair of shoes that are kind of foamy and rubbery. Sadly, they popped right off on the first real day of working them out on my local College Campus.

I hadn’t painted them or the shoes, because I was experimenting to see if they’d hold. So now that I know they won’t, what about attaching them using Gorilla Glue?

Well this is fun. I just finished up 3 years in a shoe store and have done all kinds of things with shoes...cant imagine anything that will work, unless you just want to stand still. Even if you could get the glue to work..the stress of hitting them in normal walking would break them. So why not just paint with acrylic, snakes on the shoes or if you want to do leather ones they make a special acrylic paint for leather. you can get it online at Turtlefeathers.com

My Best,

Oh I love your concept! Maybe if you can make the snakes out of rubber they might stay on? How cool are these little snakes though? Thanks so much for showing them to us!
