Lovely Jean. Just one thing. The top ring is ambiguous. The top curve is being viewed through the glass I think because of the low eyepoint, and a bit of shine going through the lower part of the ring would show that better. (I think!)

another great one Jean. The tea is just gorgeous. The color is spot on.!

But Barry is right. that top edge of the glass is confusing. If you look at it for any length of time, the top ring flips from front to back then from back to front. I think if you carried the left most reflections up to the top ring it would fix it. Maybe also pulling the faint center reflections down a bit would also help.

Just a little observation on my part.

Ok :) here's another try at that top ring , I darkened the back (lower) rim and fiddled with the two curves at the corners . any better ? :D

I anyone asks me they should copy mastworks, I'm going to point them to your work. I can see that you've not only learned a lot from the studies that you've been doing, but you're applying the knowledge in your own work. The feel is so classical. Keep 'em comin'!
