I just read about an interesting technique today, maybe some of you heard of it:
Saturating paper with turpentine then painting in oils, glaze consistency. Anyone one ever try it? The article didnít say what kind of paper. Any suggestions?
(I posted this question on the oil painting forum but I think I may get a better response here.)

I have done this with oil pastels on Stonehenge printmaking paper. This paper is darn near indestructable and really hold up to the brush well.
