Hi, just wanted to thank the people who post pictures for others to use in the reference libary. I am a new WC member, and have been inspired to paint by the images. As a thank you, I posted some of my pictures too. This is one of my water colors, that I did about two years ago. I have been concentrating on starting a line of doll house miniature plants, and other 1/12 miniatures, these last two years. Sorry I can't list the paints used, because I am a hunter and gatherer where supplies go. Then I put them on a palit, and not realy think of brand. I usualy use Archers Cold Press, 140 lb paper, but not always. I know this is getting a little long, but an introduction is hard to pllut in just a few lines. I work in several different mediums, and am self taught, so I have large gapeing holes in my education:confused: I want to post a WIP, but will have to put it off until I get moved. Going from Ohio to New Mexico. Did a coulpe sketches from the R.L.. Better cut this off, before it becomes a book Glenna Carter http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/17-May-2007/106911-Picture_081.jpg

Welcome Glenna, W/C is a fabulous place to learn so much about so many arty things ... I like your piece, great colors and nice reflections. My only concern is that the structure floats off it's support (visually) on the left.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of your stuff

Hi, thank you for the note. I guess I am not sure how to fix that. The last thired of the bridge is obscured by the trees. Do you think I should try and make the, reflection, on that side stronger? I am hopeing WC artest can help me improve my skills and understanding of art.
