Hello, all. This is 6x8, gouache on cardstock. It was done using a my 8x10 plein air piece as a reference. It is basically my second step in the process of creating the final 30x40 oil. These little gouache paintings allow me to work out compositional problems (hopefully) before commiting to the larger final painting. C&C always welcomed. Thanks for looking.

Rich,
Sounds like you're wondering about the composition. Three things. Maybe push that focus palm a little farther left, closer to the golden intersection. Make sure your closest river bank is not a line. More variation in the vegitation space and distance on the nearest river bank may achieve greater realism.
Overall a fine piece!

Thanks, Brian. As always, I appreciate your considered opinion. I'll post the final studio oil when it's done. Be well.
