So many to choose from! I love them all, but there's so many! This one sticks out in my mind because of the expression on the last little bird in line!! He/she looks so disgruntled! I just love that look!
I think everyone has done a fantastic job! I'd love to someday have all of you in a room so I could pick your brains! There is so much talent here and I feel I could learn so much! Luckily, we have WetCanvas until that day comes!

H- hairy - long haired cat
http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/Projects/lib/1102/completed/115328/tn_cat.jpg

beautifulbay,
I'm a newbie & just joined this forum challenge, so forgive the commentary seeming a bit late!:o
Your cat really caught my eye because of his alert & lively expression of interest! As one of the human companions to another long-haired cat,I identify!
I'm interested in combining cp & pastel myself, and I can only say that your very fine rendering gives me hope, that, indeed it can someday be well-done (by me, that is!):D

Hi wildgoose,
Thank you very much for your compliments, that is so nice. Welcome to to group!
Yes, I'm sure you will be able to combine the two rather nicely. I have used them together in many pieces, as the cp's tend to help me get details in where the pastels seem to be difficult.
I hope you enjoy WC! Look forward to seeing your work!

Z-zoo: Pastel Tiger
http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/Projects/lib/1102/completed/104250/tn_zootigers.jpg

Artastic, I think you did very well here with your pastels. This was a photo I took at " The Western Plains Zoo" in Dubbo, New South Wales Australia. I like what you have done for the background as you may agree, the cyclone fencing behind him ceratinly wasn't very attractive. I love Tigers, they are such beautifully elegant and graceful animals, I would just so like to hug one.:thumbsup:
