I know, I know...the petal on the right is wonky BUT it doesn't really matter that much as the whole flower is kinda not right!!! :lol: :lol:

Interesting design and pretty rendition. I'd like the palest blush of peach here and there to lessen the coolness, but it is cool. I like it.

I think it's wonderful!! There are so many ways to handle a flower 'portrait', and I think this one is just great!! Very strong and graphic. Wonderful!

I think the ink gives terrific texture and movement. It's something different, so that is a good thing for sure :)

Well I wouldn't have said it was wonky - looks ok to me - in fact scrub that last comment - it looks fantastic - love the addition of the ink.

I definately like the colors. Not too cool IMHP, but I am partial to blue and yellow. Like how it fills the page to the edges -- brings it right up close. The ink really adds to the visual impact, making the petals stand out.

Valri, I think it's LOVELY!! But then I always am drawn to ink and watercolor paintings. It doesn't look wonky at all to me. VERY NICE!

I forgot to mention that I'm submitting this for a poster comp for an art fair that I'm in this summer. The prize is a free booth and the rights to sell off prints of the original. Fingers crossed. I submit it tomorrow.
