Central Florida Juried Art Show
Now in its 13th year, the Mount Dora Center for the Arts (MDCA) is proud to present the Central Florida Juried Art Show, which features the wide range and diversity of artistic talent in our region. All interested artists who meet the eligibility requirements below are encouraged to apply. Please read the entry information carefully and use the application attached to this e-mail to submit your work we would love to see it!

Central Florida Juried Art Show
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Entrants must be a resident of Brevard, Citrus, Lake, Levy, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Polk, Seminole, Sumter or Volusia County. Each artist may submit a maximum of two (2) pieces. The maximum framed size allowance for work submitted: 36 x 36 for two dimensional, and 36 cubed for three dimensional. Eligible media include painting, drawing, pastel, photography, digital, sculpture, fiber, mixed media, and hand-thrown ceramics. All submissions must be original work created AFTER December 1, 2005. Work must be clean, in good shape, properly framed and wired, and ready to hang. All photographs, watercolors, graphics and drawings must be completely enclosed by a frame under glass or Plexiglass. No works may be entered that have been in previous MDCA shows or exhibitions. One fully completed entry label must be attached to the back of each framed work, or on the base of the three dimensional work.
FEES: A non-refundable entry fee of $30 members, $40 nonmembers, must accompany each application. There is a maximum of two (2) pieces of work per artist.
NOTIFICATION: Applicants will be notified Friday, June 1st via e-mail. Artists may call on June 1 for information.
DELIVERY/PICKUP: Work must be delivered to the Mount Dora Center for the Arts on Tuesday, May 29 between 10:00a.m. and 2:00p.m. Unaccepted works must be retrieved on June 4 between the hours of 10:00a.m. and 2:00p.m. Work accepted into the show must be retrieved on Saturday, July 21, between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
LIABILITY/RELEASE: All work on MDCA property will be insured from its receipt. Work not accepted into the show will not be covered by insurance after Midnight Saturday, July 21. Work juried into the exhibit will be insured through July 21st. Any works not retrieved by that date will be considered a donation to MDCA.
SALES: The artist must indicate whether or not a piece is for sale and the sale price. The listed sale price must already include a 35% commission to MDCA, which will be retained by MDCA for all sales made by the Center.
