Hey there, it's been a long time since I've registered, but only recently I laid my hands on a scanner. So, here's my newbie work: a Story of Knights.
This particular piece is the very beginning of a story of Tristan and Isolde, in Serbian redaction. I did it by referring to a picture from an old manuscript, but modifying it in process to adapt it for modern Serbian language and script, so itís perfectly readable by a modern reader. It has nice archaic feel to it. If anybody wants, I can post a translation.
I did it with simple dip pens, with black and red Koh-I-Noor ink. My friend's scanner cropped it more than I would like. Tell me what you think; itís my first work here!

This is very good if this is the first time that you have done anything in calligraphy. I like the hand and the illuminated letter is beautiful.

Blessed Be

Brian
