This is such a wicked painting!! I love it to death! You have caught the Babba Yagga sunbathing! Such a mysterious feeling in this one with that whispering background. I love the rolling foreground as well. nice colours there. I would like to see you tighten up the figure a bit. it is just fine to have the background blurred. It keeps things in way back. but the figure, being the star of the show, deserves a little more hard edge.

also, i want to draw your attention to something. that big brown area. notice how all the other areas have things going on...colours morphing...and then you have the brown area, which is pretty solid and uniform in its tone. I would suggest a bit more work in this area. you've got a great theme going on here...work with it.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work. Have I already?

La -I like the direction of your paintings right now. They seem to have some more representational elements that exist in your usual fantastical environments. I think it makes them easier to interact with.
