This painting is about 14 x 16". There are parts that would make great miniatures. My problem is that I want to be able to paint large, but large paintings elways end up requiring cropping, so I figure I'm doing something wrong. Any suggestions?:confused:

No advice, sorry, but I love the colors. They are warm and bright. Jan

I really like this one. I see an aged hand that looks like it is casting a spell. Now that you have cropped this can you now do a larger piece placing the elements similar to those in this one?

Interesting textures and great use of colours.

Very Diebenkornish ( I mean that as a complement!) Very nice work--I wouldn't change it.

I think it's eye catching just as it is

I think the colours and shapes(also see the gnarled hand) work beautifully. Would keep it just the way it is.

Which part do you feel needs cropping on this work. Could you show the cropped version along side the full version. Is that a possibility.

I love this! I like a painting I can really LOOK at for awhile just to see all there is in it. Love the colors! May I ask what you painted this on? Canvas or paper?
