I finally have my minor, oxy-con, tank of propane, regulator, hoses, and a free Saturday!! I just have one question to ask before I go out tomorrow morning and light the torch  !!

This may seem like a dumb thing to ask but...

When I open the valve thats on the top of the propane tank do I open it all the way, or just a little? Then the pressure is adjusted with the T Bar?
(ok, that was 2 questions!)

Thanks guys for all the great help and advice I get here, I really appreciate it! :)

Yep, you've got it, open the valve all the way and adjust your pressure with the t-bar.

Have fun!

I open the valve all the way on the propane....use the t-bar to set the pressure fairly high, then barely turn on the torch propane (using the red knob on the torch)--use the lighter to light the torch, then I adjust the propane via the red knob on the torch to get the look I want for the flame...The oxycon, I just run at 4.5lpm .... Enjoy the good life---It's sssooo liberating to not have to worry over an oxygen tank!!! Cathy
