An eerie, mysterious, historical feel to that. I like the perspective and think that you did an all-around good job. :)

I like it. I love the light in the windows. It gives it an airy feel (of course the building is a little drafty :) ).
Is the painting as dark as it appears in the photo?

Very good. It looks as if it would fall over in a strong wind. You did good. Jan

I like this a lot, especially the viewpoint and the feeling of mysterious age.

Thanks and you are quite correct that old homestead may yet fall down. That is why a painted the house. It is classified as an historical site but no one is maintaining it.... sad but true.

Thank you the building is very old and was the homestead for the local hanging judge.... perhaps thats why you feel a little mystery that is hidden in the history of the building.

I like this very much. You have to look at it and wonder about it's history.

Very creepy but historically thought provoking.

Thanks for your comments.... I was trying to create the historical feel to the building.

Thank you for your comments.... the place is really not erie but ready to fall down which is sad and perhaps erie because it almosts seems know one cares..... when in fact it is probally one of the most photograhed buildings in the area.

Kathy, you have done a great job on this. The old place will live on in your painting and you can be proud that you captured the spirit and feel of the old building in this piece.

Thank you Sunset Sue ..... for the comments. That was my intention.

I like the unusual point of view. It makes me think the top is about to slide off to the right. It tells me "BEWARE"

Beautifullly done, I love the colors. The forefront makes you feel like hopping the fence, stroll through those wild grasses to investigate...look for owls!
