I painted this after a ref picture of Evangelina Lilly from "Lost".
Blocked in some colors and worked on the skin.
I've painted this with a standard round brush and a litle bit with the smudge tool.

Awww man, this is just beautiful. What program are you using? HOW HOW HOW do you get this skin so smooth and awesome looking.

TxAggieDarlin, I use photoshop cs.
I blend colors by using a bruch with opacity at 10 and keep changing the colors so it looks seamless. I have been practising this process a lot to get this result.

This is really really great, and realistic. Boy those finger nails are perfect. I like the wip you did too.

I could never get into the show, so the actress is not familiar to me, but the portrait is very nicely done.
