That the warranty on my eyesight and hands expires before the freshness date on my ideas...

That no one will buy any of my art at Yellow Springs Art Show (April 28 - May 13). I will be stuck with all the out lay for the framing and they won't invite me back next year.

Fear??? I have none with concern for my art.Today...I enjoy the creative process and the end result. If it ended due to injury for instance...I am still surrounded by my creations. My joy will not fade:)

mine's hardly a career as inexperienced as i am ... but being insecure and unsure of myself, it's disapproval ... i know ... i need to learn to paint for me ... not anyone else ... actually ... and more truthfully ... i need to simply paint ... more than i have done ...

My biggest fear is not overcoming my fears or giving in to them. :(

I have no real fears, I just want to continue to paint and create. I want to see improvement in my work and continure to learn. That is one reason I am continually looking in WC. Everyone here has such great ideas and are happy to share them with all of us. Jan

The biggest fear I have is that I'll never have anything good enough to post on Wet Canvas. I'm a REAL novice and everyone here is way ahead of me. Maybe I'll post one soon just to give everone a good laugh. I'm not painting for a career-I paint because I love it!

Hmm, same as Carol - no one will buy which I tend to interpret as my work's not good enough...

If I had a career, LOL, which isn't likely to happen as I have never shown my work outside of family except to you, my friends at WC!! I think my biggest fear is not being good enough. However since posting here, I made the decision to join our local gallery as I hate being afraid of anything. I spent my childhood in fear and made a vow not to spend my adulthood that way and have mostly made it!! Old age is creeping up fast and I have no time for fear any more. On with the show!!

That I will never recover the skill I had when I dropped my artwork many years ago to pursue another career.

Same as Sandy - losing the ability to paint.
