This was from March's Different Strokes project ... my version of the fallen trees on the sandy beach :D

It's on canvas, 16x12" ... naples yellow figures strongly! :lol:

Dear Maureen,

Your painting reflects an eternal sunrise for a fallen tree.
A tree that was misunderstood and broken.
A tree that didn't surrender.
A tree that still dares to ask the ocean for a second opinion.

Your rendition is truly unique and wonderfully painted. When we discussed "wild color" I NEVER would have guessed this take on the subject...excellent.
