It's really beautiful. What an eye for detail! I love it.

My only thought is that my eye got stuck in the center of the painting and did not travel around the whole painting, but then maybe that was the point.

Great composition, love the title. My eye went first to the focal point but I can't say it got stuck there. It just naturally went searching the rest of the painting. I like it just the way it is.

This is beautiful. I am loving the red in this. Lovely detail and colors. I must say that I agree, that the focal point might be better off center.

very nice. I think the focal point is just fine in the middle. I like the detail in the cracks of the leaves--it's a nice touch. beautiful painting.

Geat job on the dry leaves. I like it very much as it is.

I just lost my post (if not, ignore this).
Maybe if you put some red in your outer leaves (very subtlely) it will help draw your eyes around the picture more, yet still feel the center is the focal point. A very nice, well-rendered painting!

Beautiful painting. I do think that the red in the centre is too bright and takes away from the rest of the painting. Still great painting!!

Thanks WI. No I didn't intend for people to be stuck in the center. For my part, I find myself drawn to the center but then wander out from there and am drawn back again. But I guess I am too close to it for any really objective comment. Thanks for your input. :)

Thanks very much Tracy.

Valri you can nit pick me anytime. :) I really appreciate you taking the time to comment.

Thanks Wassie, my eye does the same, but I have to admit that the corrective power of my spectacles puts me on borderline blind. LOL. Thank you for your feedback.

Thanks floopy. I will see if I can adjust the focal point next time.

Hi Lawrence. Great to hear from you again! Thank you so much for your feedback. :)

Yup, I think the cracks really do make the difference. I love them too. Probably worth a painting all of their own.

As always, your comments are really welcomed Susan. Thanks.

It's a whole new universe isn't it Dakota? And one that is so easy to ignore. We are on the same page my friend. :)

Sorry that you are also distracted by the center. Hopefully the next ones will work for you. I really appreciate your input.
