Nana, you do the most beautiful still lifes. I find them difficult to do because when I arrange things it just looks like "stuff" but yours somehow have meaning to them. You have really done such a great job with this!

Hi there,

That one has a good conception.
And it's well executed.
The light is very pleasant and I like the textures.

Kind regards,

I like the work. The only thing that kind of bother me is that the eggs seem to fuzzy or soft, maybe it is my computer.

oh Nana, I just love this. This one and that vase you did a week or so ago are my favorite paintings by you. Excellent work!!

Messyart, I don't know if these eggs should look any harder. Maybe someone else will tell us if they should have been done different.

Sandy, thank you so much. I feel like I'm improving but then the one I'm working on now is giving me fits.

The only thing wrong with it is that it's not hanging in my house.

Truly exceptional work!!! Love the entire piece... especially that brick wall and the eggs and ok... all of it!!!

Congratulations on this one!!!! Barb

Boarsrock, thank you so much!

Barb, thank you too! I want to frame this pretty quickly but unfortunatly when I ordered my frames I didn't get a size that this will go in. I think maybe I will mat in something light and neutral and frame in gold.

Very lovely lights and darks, a sort of moody feel. The eggs are beautifully done, but so is the lettering on the book, and I adore the texture of the surface the eggs are resting on.
