How interesting; they are nearly camouflaged. Nice fluidity to this, Gayatri.

Hi - commented on this in the open crit forum - again must comment on the gold highlights - beautiful...

It reminds me of some work I looked at for references when I did my college course last year... the name of the artist slips my mind now but their work was lerge portraits with extensive use of gold and gold leaf...

i too thought that the elephants looked camoflaged..but i like this effect a lot...and i like the idea that you cant see the elephants for a split second!

wow that is superb! I couldn't see the elephants at all, and had to study it for a while, but now I see them they are so obvious. This is a very clever piece of art - well done xx

I had to save this one and open it the full size of my monitor before I could find the elephants, even then I had some trouble:lol: I have difficulty seeing some shades of green and orange combinations, the gold definately helped. My daughter walked in and said "THATS GORGEOUS"

That's neat how the elephants blend in. I didn't see them at first and then they said "boo"! Beautiful colors. :)

Haha! There they are! Wow, sweet - you are breaking all the rules and it's awesome.

I do want the elephants to 'pop out' a bit - so I'm going to darken the body of the left one a bit, on the trunk particularly...

glad you all enjoyed it!!

Okay - I'll be careful, katie !!haha...

I am going to be working hard for an exhibition in October. Standards in Moscow are incredibly high. Tons and tons of super art - made me relax my style a bit.
