Hi all,

Whew... another very involved painting up against a deadline, but I just "had to" do it. next painting will be a lot simplier!!

This is an 8x25.5 on LaCarte paper using Unison pastels mostly. To get the shadow reds and oranges I dipped into the Special Collection. All the yellows are from the Unison yellow collection. I used the Y1 a lot for the bright yellow shadows. Hope you enjoy this.

Thanks Patrick,

Glad you mentioned about the composition, I'm not 100% sure about it... I"m sure someone out there will love it though... I think this would be a great over a fireplace mantle.

Love those yellows and reds against the dark bg! Unison has some great intense colours don't they?

Wow Melanie, This is beautiful. I would love this over my fireplace. The detail is fantastic and so clear and crisp. I know someone who had a painting done of their wedding bouquet..... The wedding Bouquet would make a nice title for this one
