View Full Version : First attempts at "speed painting" in Photoshop

Hmmm, long time, no post-ie.

Anyway, I dusted off my tablet and figured I'd give digital a try.

All were painted freehand (no tracing or use of guides/grids) from reference. First two I think I used too much of the blur tool.

I like them all and for 30 mins, very good, especially the portrait. As a picture I like the first best.

Great painting and my fav is the first one too I think it is the palette. :wave:

These are great Pete, and impressive for the time limit. I especially like the portrait, but nice work on all of them.

Thanks everyone. I'm enjoying this whole "speed painting" thing. Not quite as challenging as I thought it might be and it's nice to be able to paint without having to mix colours first. :D
