These are from a session this afternoon. I must have taken 40 shots and got only a few that were decent. First of all, you MUST use a tripod, next it MUST be absolutely still:rolleyes: and then you MUST remember all the little steps and setting for the camera. And then remember to toss your lucky rabbit's foot over your left shoulder!

Wanda, you've got a great pair of shots here! Look at the weird red sky! I understand your frustration... stick with it! And one more thing for your list...NO WIND!!! Ugh! I hate the wind....

Wanda these are great I am planning on buying a IR filter and feel as if I am learning in advance you just keep posting.

Thanks for the encouragement. I'm not quite sure why I'm doing this. Kind of like one of those things that feels so good when you stop;) I love the ir pics that Ann and few others have shown but I think you have to really know what you are doing to get consistent results. And YES, Reed, you can get ir pics with your Oly! I think the Hoya R72 was a good investment.
