I made these directly on the rod, then squeezed and pulled them off. :) I found out I need another pair of tweezers (talk about needing two hands!!) ... LOL ... but these were really fun! :D
Colors are Red Roof Tile, ASK Mediterranean Olive and Raku.

Wow!! I just purchased one of your focal beads off ebay last week. You know the one you held on to soooo long, because it was so beautiful, you should have!!! It is mine now & I love it. These are really cool too. What a nice surprise to run into you here. Hope to one day be able to post some beads of beauty on here too. What an inspriation to look at everyone's work on here. I am off to rent torch time tomorrow, can't wait! Wish me luck!

You are so cool! I love how you always come up with new ways to play w/glass. I guess that is the main reason I love lampwork: the freedom to say, "I wonder what will happen if I do this..."
Nice work Ms. Amber.

I made some off mandrel stuff once, but unplanning me forgot my kiln is deeper than my longest stats...I have to rather throw them on the kiln floor, risking brekage...dumb, huh? heehee love, Helen
