I'm so excited to show y'all these...I've wanted to make the forever & finally got the nerve. I dressed them up w/ tiny appliques on rigid Sterling wire...like them? Can't wait to grow some.:) Love, Helen

OMGosh, Helen. They are just beautiful. You have such a wonderful ability to translate floral beauty to glass. Thanks for sharing it with us.

The whole presentation is lovely, Helen. And the flowers are so delicate and look so hard to make and you made them so beautifully and artfully!

Thanks, You Guys! Here's the largest rose I've made, in the same romantic mushy style, inspired by stationery by Carol's Rose Garden, gorgeous stuff, more like cake than paper! Love, Helen

OH MY, Helen! Absolutely wonderful! Are they individual little flowers or are there multiple flowers on one bead?

Thanks, Y'all! I'm more excited about these than any in a long time, because I've wanted to make them for sooooo long, but was chicken. Hey, I'm thinking about buying some of them (chicks)!
Amber, they have several florets on one foundation, but some, like if you would paint it, have only a few petals. The central ones are more complete...that's how they grow, but, of course, they have many more florets to a cluster. I only try to communicate, since replicating is so difficult...with glass. Paint's a lot easier. Love, and thanks for the bid, Gal! Helen

Those are lovely, Helen! I made a pile of blossoms two years ago but haven't made them into a necklace (there's dog years and then there's Barb years.....) I like yours very much!

I'm a blue-flower-aholic.

Hugs,
B

Thanks again, B, B, & S!
Barb, I think of you often, since my dh is just finishing reading us Arctic Homestead...what cold country, as strange as ours on the other end of the spectrum. I'm a blue flower freak, too, because they are so rare. I saw some bluets last Sunday at church, 15 miles SE of here, which I may try today..little compasses point N,S,E, & W. :) Love, Helen
