I was just looking at him on Ebay. LOVE the details- the chain was a great add on and definitely suits him. The shark teeth are way cool as well.
Extremely well done, Pipyr!

Crazy cool! Looks like some underwater treasure that was lost at sea hundreds of years ago.

Neat but if you add a whip, I'm gonna report you to the ASPCA! lol

Nice extention to your talents here. Hard to imagine what you're going to do next! I like these better than the unicritters but the latest carousel one is tdf.

Wow! Looks like the creature has gotten caught on some chain from an old ship wreckage from the bottom of the ocean. Very atmospheric!!

That's fascinating.....what does it take to create this kinda creature?I like what it says!lol!!

What inspired you to make this,Pipyr?

Thanks all!! :D

The first creatures actually came about because I was using a minor on one oxy con to work boro for a couple days...it was supposed to be just a little break from soft glass. I figured hollow was the only way I could really get the glass to move on that set-up, so I made a hollow form and was gonna turn it into an organic vessel. When the vessel part was done, I thought it would be fun to add some sculptural elements and I really didn't want to add handles, so I made it into a "creature"...granted, that one was much different from the ones I make now, 'cause they have evolved over time. I keep a journal with sketches, things that inspire me, 2-D work, ads I like, textures I like, etc. Most of my ideas are spurred from whatever I made before it, so I guess they all really came from that first play session ;) Thanks for the kind words!! :D
